TV tables for flat screens are available in various capacities, shapes and woodwork styles. The choice you make will also depend on other factors like price, volume, quality of wood used and usability. While you will need to pick a flat screen stand of the right television size, you should also be looking if it is worth the price given its durability. The wiring holes required to install and plug in your set could be the next important criteria on the list.
In the present market, Riverside is one of the most popular sources selling tv tables for flat screens. With a big line-up, the company is known for black and espresso colored stands. While some of their furniture items cost more than one thousand US dollars, either they come with a mini bookshelf above the television, or an adequate amount of flat surface for temporary load-offs. DVD storage spaces, strong flat surfaces and equipment space underneath the television panels make each of the Riverside products enviable.
The storage spaces in many flat screen TV stands open out to double volume, such as in the Perpac Marcello models. Actually, in such models, the storage spaces come with DVD racks on the inner sides of the cabinet doors. As a result, the television stand can hold exactly double the number of DVDs as compared to television stands of their size and type. And what's better - it is available for less than three hundred dollars in the US!
An intelligent purchase for televisions in room-corners can be the three-tier Bermuda Black Corner TV stand. It comes at less than two hundred US dollars, and is one of the sleekest TV tables around. Based on the same feel, you can choose to invest a couple of hundred dollars more if you need a television stand for bigger televisions such as the 60-inch plasma screen ones. Walker Edison Black Regal can be smart choice for such needs, as it also provides a mount for better support.
The quality of wood used remains the most important factor when you are investing in any TV stand costing more than one hundred and fifty US dollars. Select wood veneer is available amongst various TV stand models in the range. Also, keep in mind that the more expensive models are usually heavy, hard to assemble and most often have similar space capacities as the less expensive ones. However, TV tables for flat screens that are more expensive usually come with stronger wooden panels, allowing televisions larger than the rated screen-sizes to be placed firmly.
